It's a New Year - say hello to 2020.

Have you ever been stuck in a moment? A powerful moment that you want to relive over and over.

Just so we are clear, these are not literal tips to show you how to get your rear into the drivers seat of your car and drive, literally, anywhere in life. If you need those kind of tips - we might all be in trouble, or at least those on the roads around you!

Can we just be real for one moment here. Yes that title is a little bold, but at the same time - doesn't it empower you to think about being a badass at something - in a good kind of way, or course.

What I had in mind is a Proverbs 31 kind of BA

Let me clarify. I'm not talking about a PLANK as in you're on the floor, sweating it out, strengthening your CORE as you shake like a leaf trying to hold form. (or is that just me shaking)...anyway.....

The REAL, "true" you - is about 99% invisible to the rest of the world.

Happy New Year to you! 3 days into the new year - how are you doing on those New Years Resolutions?

"Most people are living in an illusion based on someone else's beliefs."  This was a sentence in a book Im reading that really stuck out to me. (Book reference: You are a badass, how to stop doubting your greatness and start living an awesome life.) Great read by the way if you are indeed a Badass - a good one of course, like a super human being hero type of guy or gal, with a desire to make the world a better place....  and I think you are.

A great question to ask ourselves, as we rush around in our busy filled life. Americans seem to do everything in a rush - we eat too fast, talk too fast, rush around from event to event, cramming in all we can fit in within daylight hours before it's time to hit the sack and get up and do it all over again.

Ok so this is not a pic of Mt. Everest - still it's a beautiful mountain peak and to make it to the top of it would be amazing if you COULD see,

Some days we need this simple reminder. The fact that we did wake up for another day is cause alone to remind us to extend gratefulness into our day.

I get it - you don't feel like it.

Why do I call it an Art?  Because we seem to make it that, spending way too much time, talent, focus and senseless life and energy on comparison, one to another. 

WHY..... is the question? I can come up with a few reasons, but none that are positive or worthwhile.

You would think it would be a day like the day I delivered my children into the world, or some major event.

No - the day I became a wimp was all focused around a tooth ache and in all reality, was more like the month I became a wimp!

I need to clarify that LIFE part because it's not a physical in the water struggle that Im referring to.  

It's the feeling of despair, depression, nothing is going right and you can't keep up.

Hey cut yourself some slack - it happens to the best of em.  

Sometimes you know what set you off track and sometimes you have no idea.

One thing I know is brighter days are always ahead.

Hold up - let me clarify. If you have a deep pore cleansing masque on, or some wonderful skin care masque of any sorts - that you may leave on my friend, and let it do it's magic!

Soar like an Eagle. Eagle eye. The Eagle has landed. The Eagle has left the nest - ok you get it, I can stop now. There are plenty of iconic comparisons and great attributes and sayings we can take from this majestic bird and apply in our own life.

The Eagle is a living symbol of freedom, power and majesty. What can we learn from the mighty Eagle?

Do you ever randomly thank people in your life that you come in contact with maybe daily or even on special occasions.  I mean - everyone loves to be told they matter and job well done.

My thanks today is to airline pilots across the world. 

Being unoffendable is a big bold statement - but wouldn't it be great if we could strive for that mentality.

What IF we could be unoffendable in everyday life. Ya know -  take the high road, walk away, be the bigger man or woman, shake it off, let it roll off, put anger, resentment and frustrations aside and forget about it.  (I'm imaging those last 3 words "Forget about it" spoken in a strong Jersey accent - it sounds more exciting that way, so go there with me.)

This past week I laughed so hard I cried, literally, all my makeup off and started snorted uncontrollably like a little piggy - it was unplanned, as it should be, unexpected and delightful.

My daughter is an amazing gift giver and it's not for the benefit of just giving a gift. Ill tell you why she is so good at it.
